Benadryl for one child was not in original packaging (box). It was not labelled with child's first and last name. It was in a pouch that contained the child's other medication. However, the pouch did not have the child's name. The pouch did not include the medication authorization form. It was stored in a storage closet. One door at NE corner of gym was blocked open with a doorholder. This means a child could leave this area unsupervised. One door at the SE corner of gym was blocked open by a doorholder. There are not chimes or a means to hear if these doors are opened at all. The doors in the SW corner of the gym have an alarm. However, Jay R. reports that the alarm no longer functions. The main entrance doors did not chime or make a noise when this licensor opened them/arrived at the program. It was observed on later. 110-301-0215(3)(c) · Non-Compliances: This section of the Inspection Report lists non-compliances found during any licensing inspection. Medication must be stored and maintained as directed on the packaging or prescription label, including applicable refrigeration requirements. 110-301-0106(1) · A school-age provider licensed, working, or volunteering in a school-age program before the date this section becomes effective must complete the applicable training requirements of this section within three months of the date this section becomes effective unless otherwise indicated. State or federal rules may require health and safety training described under this chapter to be renewed annually.
