The referent alleged the teacher engaged in inappropriate physical interactions with children, including grabbing, pulling, and pushing.,The referent reported concerns that a teacher would “lose their cool” when managing child behavior and child guidance. They report a teacher would use aggression and frustration as methods including the teacher displaying inappropriate emotional responses and used physical or forceful behavior rather than developmentally appropriate coaching, modeling, redirecting, problem solving techniques and behavior management techniques,The referent reported being aware of concerns that a teacher was hurting children for approximately one month without notifying the department or contacting the intake line. The referent stated the concerns were not reported during that time. According to the referent, the program initiated its own internal investigation into the allegations; however, the concerns were never reported to the department.
