6.2.6.1 · Staff shall be able to hear all children of pre-kindergarten age and younger at all times, shall be able to see the children with a quick glance, and shall be able to physically respond immediately.

The program self-reported an incident involving supervision that occurred at the program on 03/26/2026. Video feed supplied by the program shows a preschool age child was left alone in the locked building at the end of the day on 03/26/2026. A staff person is observed following a parent and child out of the darkened building. Two minutes and nineteen seconds later an adult attempts to open the program door. This person attempted to open the door, walked along the ramp, and repeatedly looked in the windows. At four minutes and fifty-six seconds from when the staff person walked out of the program door, the door is opened by a person later confirmed to be a teacher within the elementary school who had been driving past. Moments later the adult from the porch walks out holding the hand of a preschool age child. This is a serious violation of supervision.
