5.10.1.10.4 · Devices that diffuse or omit airborne chemicals such as anti-pest strips, ozone generators, plug-in air fresheners, nail polish, nail polish remover, and aerosol sprays shall not be used in the FCCH while children are present.

Upon my arrival at the childcare, there were three (3) lit candles on a hutch and two (2) candle warmer. The provider extinguished them, after I told her she could not have any devices that diffuse or omit airborne chemicals during childcare hours. The provider stated she was not aware of this regulation. Past site visit reports indicate this regulation was reviewed on 04/21/2025 and 9/05/ 2025.
