Evidence: 1 - Four staff report that on March 1, 2023, Staff #1 was observed roughly handling Child #1, a five-year-old child in care. Staff who witnessed the event made the following statements during in person interviews and in written statements. - ?Staff #1 lowered the student to floor very fast in what I would consider an aggressive manor.? The child appeared to have a startled look on her face and tears in her eyes.? - ?He picked the child up by the collarbone area of her clothes and aggressively lifted her out of the classroom. When she landed on the floor by the lunch clock carts and sat crying.? - ?Staff #1 lifted her up by her arms. She had her arms bent because she was holding both hands near her mouth and crying and slammed her down on the floor in the hallway.? - ?Staff #1 lifted her up in the air. Staff #1 was talking and shaking Child #1. Then staff one slammed child one on the floor. Child one was crying uncontrollable.? 2 ? Video footage shows Staff #1 enter the classroom behind Child #1. Staff #1 grabs the child from behind, lifts the child up off the floor and carries her out of view of the classroom camera.
