Evidence: The center?s safe sleep policy, states that "Start by always placing babies on their backs to sleep." Staff admitted that infant #1 (age three months) was placed on their tummy to sleep on more than one occasion. Staff stated that they were aware of the center's safe sleep policy to always lay babies down to sleep on their back in the crib.
