EVIDENCE: Video footage from 11/02/2023 showed evidence that Staff #1 snatched a blanket and mat simultaneously from Child #1 (3 yr old) who was asleep on the mat. The interview with Staff #1 revealed that the staff person had daily difficulty with Child #1 at the conclusion of naptime and the action of pulling the mat from Child #1 had been a repeated occurrence for several weeks. Staff #1 stated, ?I takes his mat everyday, I have to pick it up from up under him.? During the interview, Staff #1 confirmed that they used an excessive amount of force when they pulled the mat from under Child #1 on 11/02/2023. Staff #1 stated, ?You can see [in the video] his feet fly up and I know I did yank it up hard.
