    During a three week period reviewed, toddlers and preschoolers were not provided an hour of outdoor activity per day. Transition reports for Child #1, who attended approximately 8 hours per day in Classroom 1 indicate outdoor time provided on 7of 13 days attended in the three week period. On the days during which Child #1 was provided outdoor activity, Child #1 was not provided outdoor activity for the minimum amount of one hour per day. Transition reports for Child #2, who attended approximately 9 hours per day in Classroom 2 indicate outdoor time provided on 6 of 12 days attended in the three week period. On the days during which Child #2 was provided outdoor activity, Child #2 was not provided outdoor activity for the minimum amount of one hour per day. Staff reported outdoor activity "doesn't happen every day, happens when we can." Staff reported that days children do not go outside often happen due to lesson plans taking longer than the time allotted and the classroom missing their designated time to use the playground.
