8VAC20-780-80-A · Based on documentation review and interview, the center did not maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.

Evidence: 1. Upon the inspector?s arrival, ten children were in care. Two additional children arrived shortly after the inspector. A paper copy of the attendance record for May 22, 2024, did not indicate the arrival of the 12 children. 2. Staff #1 acknowledged attendance had not been documented for the 12 children in care. Staff #1 stated the Ipad was not charged, and he did not know how to use the app on his phone for attendance.
