    8VAC20-780-270-A · Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.

    Loose trash was observed on the side playground and inside a toy bucket. One bus that will be used to transport children had a rusted frame observed on the driver stairs that crumbled when the door opened. A broken folded table was observed on the side playground that had pieces of plastic sharp to the touch. In the school age classrooms, a coat of dust covered the ceiling vent tiles. Outside in the preschool playground area, a metal fastener for the gutter was broken and loose. On the windowsill at the preschool playground, a plastic protector was broken off exposing broken plastic edges. In the infant classroom, a fire alarm box was open, exposing wires. In the infant classroom near an AC exhaust, a windowsill was filled with dirt and dust.
