The facility has not followed their own policies and procedures regarding medication as there were two EpiPens and cetirizine stored for emergency administration to children, all of which are expired medications. In addition, there was an EpiPen for emergency administration to child 5 for which there was no written parent authorization.

Evidence: Staff interviews revealed that there is a designated two hour nap time for the infants and staff attempt to get all infants on a routine to sleep during the designated time as opposed to sleeping as needed at other times of day.

Staff 2 was on duty with the children since the date of hire. 2. The record provided for staff 6, hired on 1/24/22, included documentation that a tuberculosis screening was obtained on 1/31/22. Staff 6 was on duty with the children between the date of hire and the tuberculosis screening. 3. Staff 1 verified the timing of the tuberculosis screenings for staff 2 and staff 6 and that they have been on duty with the children.
