8VAC20-780-350-B-2 · Based on interviews, it was determined that the center is not maintaining the 1:5 ratio of staff to children in the toddler classroom. The ages of the children in this room ranges from 16 to 24 months.

Evidence: Interviews revealed that for approximately the last five months, one staff is routinely alone with 6 to 7 toddlers anywhere from10 to 45 minutes during the morning from 7:45 am to 8:30 am. On 2/27/23, interviews revealed that the toddler classroom had one staff with 7 toddlers from 8 am to 8:45 am.
