Evidence: Child, C1, age 4, was observed on video footage leaving a classroom and exiting the center without being noticed on 04/27/2023. Video shows C1 walking to the back room that is connected to the Big Kids? classroom. C1 was then seen opening the backdoor of the center, walking down a sidewalk to stairs that lead to a busy shopping center and the driveway of a government office. C1 was out of the classroom for approximately 2 minutes before the two staff in the classroom realized he was missing. C1?s mother arrived at the center approximately two minutes after the teachers realized C1 was missing, and she assisted in looking for C1. The video showed a local government employee walking to the center. Then, the local government employee and the child?s mother leaving the center going toward the local government office together. Based on interviews with the local government employee and the child?s mother, C1 was reunited with his parent at the local government office.
