Child #1. 2.The center?s procedures on Managing Challenging Behaviors states, ?The use of physical, mental, or emotional punishment on or demeaning behavior toward any child is prohibited.? 3.The procedures also state, ?No staff member is permitted to utilize the following means of punishment or redirection on any child, including his/her own or a relative?s child, while on company property. Hitting, shaking, biting, pinching, pulling, pushing, physical force or inflicting any other form of corporal punishment to hurt a child.? 4. A video was provided by the center on 06/23/2023 where, Staff #1 was observed, pulling Child #1 by the wrist resulting in the child falling to his knees. 5. During an interview with Staff #2 on 06/23/2023, it was acknowledged, that Staff #1 was observed pulling Child #1 towards her.
