Children were observed playing on the playground during the inspection. Areas on the playground that were in an unsafe condition included: -Cracking/splintering wood along the border of the sandbox. -Bent fencing extending over the top railing of the fence. -Rust along the bottom of the green metal railings on the equipment. -Peeling/chipped green paint areas: monkey bars, climbing handles, and climbing ladder. -Peeling paint and rusty pieces on the music board piece. -Crack in blue slide. -Front gate and fencing along the front of the playground is rusted.
