On 7/9/2025 at approximately 4:30pm, a child age 6, was in the main SACC room with a group of 12 children and 3 staff. The child exited the room, located on the second floor, walked down the hall, down the stairs and out the front door without SACC staff noticing. The staff at the front desk at the community center noticed and went outside to stop the child. When the child failed to stop the staff returned to the front desk and alerted the SACC staff. Child #1 went approximately 88 yards down the side of the building, crossing into the parking lot where a farmers market and fair was in progress.
