8VAC20-780-340-A · When staff are supervising children, they shall always ensure their care and guidance. On April 2, 2025 at approximately 9:00am, staff #1 was in the pre-k classroom sitting and looking at their cell phone for approximately five minutes and in that time, child #1, child #3, child #4 and child #5 (between the ages of 4-5) engaged in inappropriate actions with each other. Staff #1 did not notice the incident occurring. When Staff #2 entered the classroom, they immediately intervened with the group of children to end the inappropriate activity.
