conflicts. On April 16, 2026, at approximately 9:20 am, Child #2 (age 3) hit another child in the chest with a closed fist. Staff #1 separated the children. At approximately 11:07 am, Child #2 was removed from the classroom regarding the incident. Staff did not ensure proper behavior guidance, as there was an extended period between the incident and when the behavior was addressed.

Staff #1 walked to the child, then took Child #1 by the arm and moved the child onto a mat for a timeout. Staff #1 was heard stating in a raised voice, ?Sit down here and don?t get up.? Staff #1 did not redirect the behavior appropriately and did not ensure care, protection, and guidance.
