The provider used background check portability instead of the caregiver going to a Field Print site to get fingerprinted. Portability of background checks did not go into effect until 1/1/22. 3. The portability form submitted by the provider was signed and dated 1/31/22. 4. The results of the criminal history check on the background check portability form were obtained on 2/15/22. The fingerprint results were found to be acceptable.
