    When staff are supervising children, they shall always ensure their care, protection, and guidance. Child A was running on the basketball court on the local playground, when they tripped and fell, scraping their forehead over and under the left eye. Staff 1 stated that the child got up and continued to play, so no first aid was given. Staff also stated that abrasions were noted after the child woke up from naptime, and no first aid was given at that time.
