The 2 year old classroom was observed to have been served half an apple that were not cut into smaller pieces to reduce the risk of choking. This was corrected at inspection by informing the caregivers and Director to cut the pieces smaller for the younger toddlers. The apples were cut in pieces that did not present a choking hazard.
