When arrived at inspection one caregiver was outside pushing 5 infants, ages 8 months to 12 months (SPA: 12 months) in a Bye Bye buggy leaving a second infant caregiver inside the classroom with 5 infants, ages 4 months to 9 months. These numbers exceed the ratios allowed in a child care center. This was corrected at inspection as the caregiver took the children back to the infant class that had an additional caregiver to helps supervise the children.

This standard was reviewed on 12/8/2021 as a follow-up to a previous inspection and found deficient. Two other boards on the fence have come lose and need secured. Two nails were protrudint from one wood board in the fence. There is a concrete block on the playground. A space heater was observed being used without a safegaurd to prevent access to the children.

Nails were protruding from a wooden structure on the playground. A small hole was observed in the wall in one room. Part of one air vent cover was not secured to the wall. A second air vent cover did not completely cover the air vent, exposing a small portion of the vent.
