Summary of Monitoring Visit The visit conducted today included monitoring of the agency's compliance with Licensing Rules and Regulations. It also included a review of the QRIS. Technical Assistance Provided: 1. Agency does not currently have any certificate children. 2. Director stated she could not get onto the Portal. This was due to an expired password. LC and Director worked on it together. She regained access to the site by changing her password. At that time Director and LC worked on their requested change report due 3/31/2023. 3. Health and Safety components that are rotated for rating purposes were discussed. 4. LC suggested that educators practice singing ABC song or something similar while teaching the children to wash their hands. And also singing to them during diaper changes to hold their attention. 5. All required postings were found in the observed classroom 6. Temp in observed room was in range at 68 degrees 7. LC provided guidance on writing materials that need to be left out at all times of the day so the children are allow access to them throughout the day. 8. Director stated that one classroom had hand/foot/mouth disease, she stated she followed protocol, and that necessary measures were being taken to rid the agency of this health problem. 9. Director explained to Licensing the purpose of the agency's "Lockdown Boxes" that was found in each room. They contain to tool that will lock the door from the inside of the classroom, if there is an emergency that would require that sort of measure. 10. LC provided guidance on cleaning supplies left in the adult bathroom needed to be put at a higher level just in case children were in the bathroom and got into the solution. 11. Director explained that she had 2 educators on site, on this date, called EOG's. These are Educators on the Go (EOG) and their major function is substituting for the different agencies in their area. LC put them on this centers BacTrak on this date. 12. SOS filling was provided to Director by LC . Director informed licensing that their particular site can be found under "Never Grow Up" vs. DTDMNTN 13. The agency currently has 40 Staff (4 files) Staff, 185 (19 files) children, and 11 (11 files) were checked for deficiencies on this date. No Violations were received
