Summary of Complaint Visit The visit conducted today included monitoring of the agency's compliance with Licensing Rules and Regulations and investigation of PCS1004380. Technical Assistance Provided: 1. LC and Director discussed a TAM referral would be made for the entire agency to be trained specially on transition times, supervision in the classroom and on the playground, and proper name to face roll call procedures. 2. Also discussed between LC and Director was TA on Supervision Plan postings at each door that is utilized to gain access to each playground entrance throughout the building. No violations were given at this visit but 2 Supervision violations will be given to the agency via the complaint issue PCS1004380 in the Portal. * This is the second violation associated with a child left unattended on the playground on 8/31/2023. This violation will be given for lack of proper roll call being performed by the educator in charge, before the class left the playground and upon arriving in the gymnasium, as per licensure rules. The agency made a self-reported incident report to Licensing after a child was left unattended on the playground. A violation will be given as a result of this action.

Technical Assistance Provided: 1. LC and Director discussed available options for classroom management training, if there ever became a need for a specific educator or just a refresher for all educators, concerning this topic. 2. Also discussed between LC and AD was the agency's ability to retain Educators. Specifically the topic of longevity of these employee's was averaging 2 – 3 yrs. She reported to Licensing that she was currently working on awarding these Educators in with pay increase to reflect their loyalty and hard work through the years. No violations were given at this visit. DCS will also be investigating this complaint.
