A 9-month-old, sleeping infant was left in a crib. The report stated that "As soon as they got to the designated area and counted the children the teacher immediately remembered the sleeping child" and went back inside to get the child. The parents of the child were then notified via phone call.

According to TN Licensing rules and regulations, all incidents, accidents, injuries, and signs of serious illness in children shall be documented immediately. The documentation shall be provided to the parent/guardian the same day of the incident, and filed in the child's record. On April 19, 2024, An incident report was completed and provided to the parents.
