Observation: : LC determined through verbal reports and paper roll sheets, that the educator in charge of the children did not follow through and do name to face roll after each transition area upon returning to the classroom after outside play. Thus, resulting in a child remaining outside while the class was inside the building. Rule: 1240-04-01-.11 (3) 6 Corrective Action: CCRR will come to do 10 hours of Conscious Discipline training with the staff. This training will be mandatory. This will ensure we are all well versed on developmentally appropriate behavioral interventions, appropriate and reasonable discipline children can understand and new techniques for disciplining. After training is complete, there will be documentation in each staff member's personal file documenting their completion of this course and training. Failure to comply with this training or to implement will lead to disciplinary action including possible termination. + I will have my staff commit to partnering with me and Kindercare's Inclusion's department if they are experiencing difficulty with handling a child's behaviors. This will be documented in the staff member's personal file as well. + There will be walkie-talkies in every classrooms.
