Violation
During the unannounced visit, the PE observed that two infant classes had been moved from the child care center to the church across the street due to an increase in the enrollment and not having enough space in the child care center. These classrooms have not been given fire approval. According to the Standards for Child Care Centers and School-Age Child Care Programs, Rule 0520-12-01-.03 (2) (a), there must be satisfactory evidence that the facility that is proposed for the care of children have received fire safety and environmental safety approval. Due to the fact that these classrooms have not been approved, the program is in violation of this rule.
