Observation: New Hire was allowed to start working without a Child Care Criminal Background check. The new hire was originally fingerprinted January 18, 2018, terminated employment July 11, 2018 and was allowed to return to work September 07, 2021 without a new fingerprint submission and clearance. Rule Cited: 1240-04-01-.07 CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND STATE REGISTRY/RECORDS REVIEW PROCEDURES. Corrective Action: The educator was asked by Director Street to immediately leave the agency, complete a disclosure form to submit fingerprints for clearance prior to continuing to provide child care services. The educator completed a disclosure form, registered for fingerprint submission and left the agency until fingerprints are cleared.
