The management of the agency shall maintain a system that enables all children in the agency¿s care to receive a level of supervision of their status and activities that is appropriate to their age and their developmental, physical and mental status so as ensure their health and safety and that allows agency personnel to know the whereabouts of each child in their care. 2.The reporter states that Aliciah Young (6) lives with her mother, Shalonda Adams. Aliciah attends after school care at New Glory Prep and Learning Center where Amber Green and Chetara Bailey are employed as teachers. Today, Aliciah was seen at the intersection of Crump and Mississippi which is a good ways from the daycare center. A police officer viewed this child. The officer tried to catch the girl, but Aliciah had gone to the other side of the street. The child was recognized and knew that she was supposed to be at daycare. The daycare reported that they did not know where she was and last saw Aliciah at 3:30 p.m. The call was made to police at 4p.m. the child was signed in at the daycare at 2:45 p.m. It was reported that Aliciah was upset when her mother brought her to daycare. Aliciah was sitting on a mat with her brother and then she was gone. By the time the daycare realized she was missing the police had brought her back. It is reported that Aliciah has run away from her school because she did not want to be there. On one incident Aliciah was found on the interstate. Aliciah attends Bruce during the day and then the other program in the afternoon. Aliciah's mother and father are currently at the daycare. Aliciah is not injured or hurt. The owner of the daycare is Henry Brooks (901-644-6334) and the director is Angela Brooks (901-775-2809 or 901-948-8899).
