Observation: During an Assessment visit on July15, 2019, it was observed that a microwave was used to warm an infant bottle. Rule: 1240-04-01-.13 Food and Food Service Corrective Action: To prevent this problem from occurring again the microwave will be removed from the classroom. Also all bottles will be warmed in the kitchen in a bowl of hot water.

During an unannounced monitoring visit the CCPE observed that the bus was not physically walked through by the second and or a third reviewer. 1240-04-01-.17 Transportation Corrective Action: The director will ensure that the process for loading, unloading and accounting for each child must be followed. It’s imperative that the verification process of the reviewer duties are conducted to confirm that every child is off of the vehicle after each trip destination.
