Observation: Two employees were hired and assuming duties in the classrooms without the agency having their background check results as required. 1240-04-01-07 Criminal Background Check and State Registry/Records Review Procedures Corrective Action: In order to protect children from the extreme risk associated with exposure to potentially dangerous individuals, the agency should have ensured that all staff receive criminal background check results prior to being placed in the classroom.
