While reviewing the childcare center's video footage, it was observed that four (4) 1-2-Year-old children were eating a snack and educators did not provide direct supervision to the children during snack time. Educators were observed picking children up by their arms to move them to another area.

See Below for Detailed Information Observation: During the assessment on 7/25/2019, the educator was observed preparing mats for nap during lunch. Staff should not be performing other duties while children are eating. A mealtime supervision plan had not been developed for this room and posted as required. 1240-04-01-.13 Food and Food Service. Corrective Action: The meal time supervision rules were reviewed with the educator by the agency director and the program evaluator. The educator acknowledges the importance of close supervision during meal time for young children in order to intervene in case of choking. As required the written meal time supervision plan was posted in the room.
