LC Leonard conducted an unannounced visit on 2/28/2023 in response to complaint #PCS1002264, this visit conducted today included monitoring the agency's compliance with Licensing Rules and Regulations. Rule Sections Monitored: All High Risk; Staff, Criminal Background Check; Supervision; Health and Safety; Specific Requirements for Child Care Centers. See attached check sheet. Provider signed in e-licensing but was unable to sign check sheet as LC had tech difficulty with the computer signing function. New Hires: 1 BacTrak Updated: Yes / Employee Training - 2nd day /not counted in ratio Technical Assistance Provided: Ensure new staff register in TNPAL. Ensure new training staff is not left alone with children or counted in ratio while awaiting background letters. Discussed with all staff recognizing signs of illness, separating children from others, and parent contact for pick-up. Universal and standard precautions as defined by the CDC shall be followed when handling or cleaning bodily fluids. Program-outdoor playground routines were discussed - ensuring children are dressed properly for weather conditions when going outdoors. The agency has extra coats on hand if children do not have a jacket. The agency provided a sick policy copy. - See supporting documents. No Violations were received.
