OBSERVATION: In order to maintain ratios when educators are out, agency has been shuffling children weekly, sometimes several times a week. Children are shuffled to another classroom within the same age range. 1240-04-01-.22 SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR CHILDCARE CENTERS POCA: Children are to stay in the same classroom with the same educator all day OBSERVATION: In one classroom, Educators were up cleaning and assisting with hand washing while there were still children sitting at the table eating. 1240-04-01-.11 SUPERVISION POCA: At least one educator will stay seated with the children during meals until all the children are finished eating. OBSERVATION: Educators and children did not wash hands before lunch 1240-04-01-.13 FOOD AND FOOD SERVICE POCA: All educators and children will hand wash before and after all meals and snacks OBSERVATION: Tables in several classrooms were not sanitized before lunch 1240-04-01-.13 FOOD AND FOOD SERVICE POCA: Staff/Educators will ensure that tables are sanitized properly before and after all meals and snacks.

OBSERVATION: Program Evaluator observed that children in the Pre-1, 2, 3 classrooms are being shuffled in order to meet ratios. 1240-04-03-.06 SUPERVISION. POCA: Agency has made sure that staff are available to cover classrooms and if not, the Director or Assistant Director will help cover the classroom to ensure proper ratios are met without moving children.
