Observation: On 03/11/2021 seven children ages 18 months to 34 months were being cared for by one educator. In order to be in compliance, infants and toddlers should not be grouped with children over the age of 30 months. These children should have been in two separate groups with two separate educators. 1240-04-01-.22 SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR CHILD CARE CENTERS Plan of Corrective Action: CCPE and the director reviewed the adult;child ratios during the visit on 03/11/2021. The director stated the violation would be corrected on 03/11/2021 when the second educator who was currently on break returned to the center. The director will develop a plan of corrective action to ensure this does not reoccur. The director has reviewed the adult:child ratio charts it the rules again. All adult:child ratios were in compliance at the 03/12/2021 follow-up visit.
