Observation: On 01/24/2020 there were twenty-seven (27) children aged three (3) years to five (5) years of age in the gym with two (2) educators. Three (3) educators are required for that number of children. 1240-04-01-.22 SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR CHILD CARE CENTERS Corrective Action: The Director stated that there was a misunderstanding of the adult:child ratios when classes were combined in the gym an educator needed to take a break. She stated that all staff will be trained on the proper adult:child ratio and the violation will not reoccur. Child Care Program Evaluator made an unannounced visit on 01-29-2020 during the same time of the day and adult:child ratios were in compliance.
