Summary of complaint investigating Visit The visit conducted today included monitoring of the agency's compliance with Licensing Rules and Regulations. Technical Assistance Provided: 1. When something out of the ordinary or concerning occurs with a child be sure to infrom parent in writing. 2. The rules allow that if a child is too heavy to be lifted onto the changing table then a designated space can be made for placing a changing mat on the floor at the time of the change. This would keep the child from getting harmed if the child is physically struggling during the diaper/pull up change process. 3. Best practice: If there is a concern with an educator or other employee there needs to be a procedure for keeping track. LC suggested written Oral Warnings to keep in employee files as a quick reference when it is time to do the annual evaluation or termination.
