Observation: An epinephrine pen was on site for a child that was not in the original container, did not have the child's name on the pen, and the expiration date was not listed as required. 1240-04-01-.12 HEALTH AND SAFETY. Corrective Action: The Director was given Technical Assistance prior to completing the Plan of Corrective Action. She understands not to accept medications without the requirements. She also called the parent this date to pick up the medication and return it only if it meets the rules.

Observation: The driver for the field trip who was contracted through a 3rd party was not cleared through the fingerprinting process prior to driving for the agency, as required. 1240-4-3-.07 STAFF. Corrective Action: The agency will check the driver's qualifications prior to leaving for a field trip to ensure they have all of the required qualifications prior to driving.
