Violation

**I was given a ziploc bag with medications that were stored in an unlocked filing cabinet. **There were two Epi-Pens in the bag for children who no longer attend the program. Parents need to be called and medicine returned. **One parent identified her child having a severe nut allergy and needing an epi-pen, however no epi-pen has been provided by parent. Parent needs to provide one ASAP. Haley West, youth service coordinator for the club called parent and one will be provided the next day, 04/05/22. 0520-12-01.-10 Health and Safety (14) The administration of medication shall be in compliance with the following: (d) The parent of a child receiving medication shall sign documentation verifying the receipt of documentation of administration required by subparagraph (c) above and that all unused medication was returned to the parent. (g) All medicines, prescription and non-prescription shall be stored in a locked compartment or container.
