Observations: The center had recently accepted generic Benadryl and when checked it had expired 12/18. The educators had not checked the date as required. 1240-04-01-.12 HEALTH AND SAFETY. Corrective Action: PE gave technical assistance to the Director. The center immediately called the mother and informed her she would need to replace the medication for them to be able to administer it. The Director stated they will initiate a monthly check of medication dates.
