The visit conducted today included monitoring of the agency's compliance with Licensing Rules and Regulations and complaint investigation and delivering the safety plan. Technical Assistance Provided: 1. Incident Report/Accident Injury report should be completed when something happens to a child and the parent should sign it by the end of the day. 2. LC will make a referral for some inclusion training. 3. We discussed swaddling and the director asked about various types of swaddling. A parent has asked about one that restrains the arms and they told the parent they would check on it. LC explained that the arms have to be free. 4. The director asked about a 13 month old child who has some developmental delays due to having a brain tumor. After the surgery the child is making progress but is still delayed at this time. They wanted to know about the child staying in the Infant room past 15 months since their class is 6 weeks -15 months. LC explained that they we can discuss this when we get closer to the cut off and see how much progress he has made and if he needs to stay in the Infant room or is able to move to the toddler room. 5. We discussed 3rd party, contract providers being fingerprinted. LC explained that all of these people have to be fingerprinted through DHS.
