During review of video footage during a unannounced complaint investigation, LC Noel Powell observed a 2-year-old child was observed remaining in the classroom bathroom for an extended period of time without staff awareness while the classroom exited for a tornado drill. The child remained on or in the toileting area for longer than five minutes before being located by staff, which does not meet the required toileting supervision and time limits

During a scheduled tornado drill, a 2-year-old child was left unattended in a classroom bathroom while the rest of the classroom group exited the room. Video review confirmed the child remained in the bathroom and was not within the sight or sound of staff during the drill. The child was later located and reunited with the classroom. This resulted in the child being left unattended in the classroom, constituting a lack of required supervision.
