Observation: The agency did not have a written plan of action endorsed by the child’s pediatrician or licensed medical provider for a child with life-threatening food allergies posted or on site at the agency as required. 1240-04-01-.13 Food and Food Service Corrective Action Plan: The agency will not allow the child to return to the agency until the physician endorsed allergy action plan for the child is obtained. Once obtained the agency will post in the classroom of the agency with the medication. In the future the agency will not allow children to start child care until the plan of action has been completed and received by the agency.
