Corrective Action: Training has been provided to educator on appropriate activities for children based on their age and development. Training will be ongoing. Observation: An educator used a mild form of corporal punishment on a child in the classroom by swatting a child on their hand. No form of spanking or corporal punishment can be used on children while in child care. 1240-04-01-.15 PROGRAM, LANGUAGE, AND LITERACY DEVELOPMENT. Corrective Action: Educator is to receive training before working alone with children.
