On March 13, 2025, LC Hobbs visited Agency to investigate an incident reported by the director on the same day it occurred. The incident happened on March 6, when a parent picked up their child from the playground and did not fully latch the gate. A child was able to push the gate open and walked down the sidewalk toward the edge of the parking lot. Another parent spotted the child and quickly ran to retrieve him, alerting his teacher, who also rushed to reach the child. The child was outside the playground for approximately 30 seconds.

Observation:4 yr. old child was left on the playground from 11:08-11:12 A.M. Parent was dropping her child off and observed him, alone, on the playground and reported it to Alyssa Garnett, Director. Ms. Garnett self-reported the incident. Educators did not do face to name count when re-entering the building.
