The child then entered the staff breakroom, where another educator was present who called out to classroom-Transition 1 and let them know he was there and returned him to the educator in charge of the classroom, who had been assisting with handwashing with her back to the classroom. On Thursday, 05/14/26 a child in the Transition 1 room opened the door that is the direct exit outside and the educator heard the door opening and called out to the child who then ran around the front of the building. The educator called for help and ran out of the classroom and retrieved the child within a minute.
