Observation: Agency did not maintain fire approval by having a fire extinguisher which was too small for the square footage of the kitchen and it had not been documented that it had been certified annually. 1240-04-01-.09 PHYSICAL FACILITIES Corrective Action: Agency stated they want to comply with fire requirements but was not aware of new fire requirements. After several attempts to contact the county fire department, agency was made aware of the only company that maintains and inspects fire extinguishers in this area. On 5-16-18 the agency obtained a new fire extinguisher which was the correct size and is tagged with current certification. PE received a copy of the certification on 5/23/2018.
