The child’s teacher has met with his parents and offered apologies. The church has locked the walking track and walkers must request entrance at the church office. PE asked educator to remove the bib which was done so upon request. Observation was in the “older” infant room. 1240-04-01-.11 SUPERVISION. PE observed a “wub-a-nub” paci with attached soft doll in crib with sleeping 7 month old. Child awoke and was removed from crib and paci was removed. 1240-04-01-.11 SUPERVISION Corrective Action: Staff will be refreshed on safe sleep rules and procedures. A letter is being sent home to parents to remind them to keep pacifier clips, wub-a-nub pacifiers, and other dolls for sleeping at home. In addition, the children were pushing/shoving, throwing sand at one another, and dumping out sand onto the ground. This type of behavior continued throughout the outdoor play period.” Also, “During the observation children were observed pushing, kicking, taking toys from one another, and throwing toys.
