Summary of Complaint Visit The visit conducted today included monitoring of the agency's compliance with Licensing Rules and Regulations and investigating a complaint. Staff were aware that an educator smacked a child on the back of the hand and did not report the incident to DHS or DCS as required. An investigation proved that on multiple occasions an educator yelled and screamed at children for not behaving as expected. Other educators observed an educator smacking a child on the hand. The educators reported the incident to the director. The incident was not reported to DCS/DHS as required.
