(c) The program shall not attempt to validate the allegation prior to making a report. A final determination of the validity of the report of abuse or neglect shall be made exclusively by the Department of Children’s Services and/or by law enforcement upon the report by the program’s staff. The report of the teacher hitting the child was not reported to DCS, but instead an internal investigation was done. By law, all allegations of abuse must be reported and the validation of the report will be determined by the Department of Children’s Services. 0520-12-01-.02 DEFINITIONS.(12) Conventional Care. Child care services provided between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This program has been in operation serving children ages 18 months – 4 years, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Monday – Friday and has not been monitored by DOE or DHS. 0520-12-01-.03 PROGRAM APPROVAL. (9) A program that submits a satisfactory annual report and demonstrates a reasonable probability that the program can maintain compliance with all laws and regulations during the annual certification period, shall be issued a new annual certificate of approval by the department. There was an Annual Report that was submitted to the Department of Education for the Grace Christian Preparatory Kindergarten, but there was not one submitted for Grace Weekday Preschool.
